Management & Leadership Other
Description of Action:
Sue Elkind, the owner of Dig Yoga, is enthusiastically on board with becoming a registered sustainable business as well as implementing as many sustainable practices as possible. She is also very eager to utilize our space to hold information sessions for the community on how to live more sustainably and be more eco-conscious. Steve Frank, the owner of the building, is excited to help take steps toward being more sustainable. Our building is currently more than 80% solar powered and we are in the discussion stage of putting in slow-flow fixtures into the bathrooms (shared space), using rain water barrels, and possibly switching to post-consumer recycled paper towels and eco-friendly cleaners.
