Description of Action: 
All products and merchandise that we provide for our employees are made from environmentally friendly and compostable materials. Our t-shirts are made from 100% organic cotton and our notebooks are made from recycled and compostable materials.

We donate a portion of the food grown in each of our school gardens to charities each year. For 2020, we donated more than 250 pounds of vegetables from our school gardens collectively.

All of our employees and volunteers use public transportation and carpooling options as their preferred method of commuting to work instead of driving individually. We are always trying to condense our commenting routes to reduce the amount of vehicles we use.

Description of Action: 
We prefer to buy the seedlings that we use in our school gardens from local stores instead of big franchises. We want to support the local shops and help them during these tough times.

We have coached over 100 home gardens these past few months. We provide families with tips, tools, and resources to cultivate and maintain their home gardens throughout the year. This increase in plants decreases the amount of carbon in the air, beautifies the city, and reduces the amount of food families may be buying because they have produce in their own backyards.
