Our annual goal is to use as little paper as possible in our production process and layout of our magazine and in our other services. Another of our objectives is to make information panels, interviews with experts and advertising that supports raising awareness of the climate crisis.

We are creating since 2019,2020 and 2021 facebooklive programs on Any Oliva EN VIVO Livestream. These marketing strategies targeted the business community. Our goal is for they can adopt more efficient practices in order to help the environment.

Description of Action: 
This year we set out to reduce materials that are no longer used such as cardboard, graphic printing paper by 15% and have recycling management", our goals are: • All invoices to clients and proposals will no longer be on paper and will be digital • All waste cardboard and printing materials will be sent to a recycling center in Union City NJ • We appointed a person in charge of our team to monitor the consumption of the paper that we still use and verify which one can be sent to the recycling center • We will create an awareness campaign on the management of cardboard and excess paper in our clients' offices.

Negocios Hispanos USA Magazine went from being a 24-page magazine to printing 16 pages and leaving the other pages digital to reduce paper consumption. We always encourage our teams to use as little paper as possible by making it possible for all magazines´ files that were previously reviewed on paper to be reviewed digitally.

In 2019, 2020 and 2021, we replaced all design proofs that we printed for corrections with digital files, which reduced our use of paper and office supplies. We have saved $2000.00 between paper, ink, staples, pencils, notebooks, and folders. We have saved $660.00 per year.

All lights are turned off if not needed. All equipment such as computers, printers, recording lights and sound equipment are turned off and unplugged if not in use.

Our team has been working remotely for almost a year which has reduced the use of vehicles. Meetings with our clients are held virtual or by phone. We reduce the times that we travel to the offices of our clients that are in different cities of New Jersey and New York. With this initiative, we use fewer vehicles.

Description of Action: 
When the Covid19 Pandemic ended, we made the decision to rent another office, but to save on gasoline consumption and its impact on the environment, we only worked 3 days in the office a week and 2 days at home office. This brought a reduction from 7236 miles to 4377.6 miles, a reduction of 2858.4 miles representing 129.93 gallons of gasoline and a cost of $474.23.
