Description of Action: 
As a solar design, finance, and installation company, our mission is to provide clean energy solutions through property development, retrofitting for carbon reduction, and construction additions to accommodate solar energy. This includes rooftop, ground mount and solar canopies. To date we have installed over 40MW of clean, solar energy.

Description of Action: 
Geoscape Solar supplies every employee with reusable coffee containers and water bottles. We provide filtered water. We do not purchase cups and we only purchase compostable utensils as needed. All paper products that are purchased is recycled and/or made from composted materials. We also recycle our ink cartridges. We discourage printing whenever possible and make use of a variety of on-line platforms for sharing that eliminates the need for printed materials.

In addition to purchasing items that are already made from recycled waste, we recycle office paper, plastic and aluminum. All the signage we create for our construction sites is made for multiple uses and moved from site to site.

We provide our office team with laptops so that they are able to work from home. Most employees are only required to be in office for individual and departmental meetings. Both of these measures keep many cars off the road on a daily basis.

Our crew teams carpool to job sites together from our main offices and reduce the amount of vehicles that are on the road throughout the state.

Geoscape Solar uses LED lighting with our main switches all set on timers. We have ample natural lighting and plants placed throughout the office to increase healthy oxygen circulation.

Geoscape Solar has installed over 40 megawatts of solar energy and our pipeline keeps growing. Just 1 megawatt of solar energy offsets 31,500 TONS of Carbon Dioxide, plants 741 trees, and removes 5,581 cars from the road.

Description of Action: 
Geoscape Solar is is a proud partner of Earth Share NJ and help support their initiative to mobilize the people of New Jersey to protect our land, water, air and wildlife, making the state a healthier place to live, work and play. We also partner with and support/promote several of of non-profit clients. Geoscape Solar also creates in person and on-line events to inspire and educate people to make a difference by living more sustainably.
