Description of Action: 
Our mission is to preserve the environment for future generations through recycling of carpet, ceiling tile, gypsum wall board and other construction materials in accordance with the USGBC standards for Construction and Demolition waste recycling.
Waste Reuse
Description of Action: 
CarpetCycle collects post-consumer carpet tile from various demolition projects, some of these tiles are donated or sold for reuse. This carpet tile gets can be reinstalled in a different location thus prolonging the lifetime of the product.
Waste Recycling
Description of Action: 
In 2022 we close loop recycled over 1,000,000 pounds of Acoustical Ceiling Tiles through Armstrong's recycling program. We are frequently the largest single provider of post consumer ceiling tiles on the planet through Armstrong. This is equivalent to saving: -6,042 tons of virgin raw materials -763,487 kWh energy saved -1,039,221 gallons of potable water saved -250,468 kg CO2 equivalent greenhouse gas avoided Source Ceiling tile recycling impact:
