Provide Environmentally Preferable Products Services
Description of Action:
Many wood products sold at the store such as tables, bookshelves, hutches, etc., are made from reclaimed antique barn wood from Pennsylvania. Before being crafted into furniture the wood is housed at a warehouse in Pennsylvania. Additional products such as sofas are made using sustainable frames, eco-friendly dyes, and plant-based cushions.

Description of Action:
Homestead Princeton moved to the former Princeton Packet newspaper building in 2020. Reimagining and renovating an iconic building, rather than demolishing and building a new store saved landfill space and building materials. All of the walls of the shop are made of reclaimed barnwood that did not require demo or painting.
