TerraCycle is Eliminating the Idea of Waste® by recycling the "non-recyclable." Whether it's coffee capsules from your home, pens from a school or plastic gloves from a manufacturing facility, TerraCycle can collect and recycle almost any form of waste. We partner with individual collectors, as well as major consumer product companies, retailers, manufacturers, municipalities and small businesses across 20 countries. In conjunction with our partners, we are able to divert millions of pounds of waste from landfills and incinerators each month.

Description of Action: 
Upcycling -The key difference between upcycling and reusing waste is that with upcycling the original intention of the object changes. TerraCycle works with many of the world's best companies to bring upcycling solutions to many forms of waste. We use USPS mail sacks for tablet cases and coin purses, overrun tent material for dopp kits. These products are available to buy online through UncommonGoods, DwellSmart and the USPS store. In addition, TerraCycle's website has DIY suggestions on its website for people who want to on their own.

<p>TerraCycle uses only circular methods (reuse, upcycling or recycling) for repurposing the waste we collect through our various programs. TerraCycle will never landfill or incinerate your waste. TerraCycle offers a variety of programs through which organizations may recycle nearly every type of waste:</p> <p>1. Free recycling programs - These recycling programs are completely free, made possible through our partners' support. Simply sign up and start recycling.</p> <p>2. Zero Waste Boxes - Zero Waste Boxes allow us to create recycling solutions for nearly every type of waste imaginable. These boxes may be purchased in various sizes.</p> <p>3. Large-scale recycling - Our teams can also work with your business or company to recycle large volumes of waste.</p>
