Waste Reduction - Sustainable Princeton believes that no action is too small to help make our community more sustainable. - Sustainable Princeton prints double sided and in B&W unless necessary, uses electronic communication as often as possible, and does not print copies of information for meetings unless requested. - By using an in-office compost bin, SP reduces waste by a pound of food waste per week. 1 pound * 50 weeks = 50 pounds of food waste reduced per year. We also save $1.75 for composting every year. - Sustainable Princeton strives to make each event we organize a zero waste event. We require that food vendors provide service wear that is recyclable or compostable, Left over food is given to attendees to take home or gets composted.
