This year marks The National Pollution Prevention Roundtable’s (NPPR) 22nd Annual Most Valuable Pollution Prevention Awards (MVP2). NPPR’s mission is to provide a national forum for promoting the development, implementation, and evaluation of efforts to avoid, eliminate, or reduce pollution at the source. The NPPR started the MVP2 awards in 1995 to recognize significant pollution prevention efforts of Local Government, State Government, Federal Government, Tribal, Not-for-profit and private industry. In addition, new to this year the MVP2 awards will also recognize education. The seven award categories are: Project or Program, Multimedia, P2 Champion, P2 Ambassador and Volunteer, Educator and Student of the Year. The application for 2017’s MVP2 awards is currently available!
