Upgrades to EPA's Energy Star Portfolio Manager

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) has made it even easier for businesses to reduce their environmental impact and cut operating costs through their Energy Star Portfolio Manager program.    The Energy Star Portfolio Manager is a free benchmarking and tracking tool for commercial building owners and managers; it is used by more than 450,000 US buildings to benchmark energy, water and greenhouse gas metrics.  The USEPA recently updated the program to allow owners and managers to track 29 types of waste and materials; including glass, paper, plastics, appliances, electronics and yard waste. To learn more about the Energy Star Portfolio Manager waste tracking features attend EPA's Introducing Waste & Materials Tracking in Portfolio Manager Webinar on September 15, 2016 at 1:00 pm ET.
