In the beginning of 2019, Zebulon Tax Advisory LLC adopted a 1-mile stretch along State Highway 28 (South Avenue West), beginning in Scotch Plains and ending in Westfield. Since that time, David Steiner has led quarterly litter clean-ups along this stretch of highway, which is marked with a sign bearing Zebulon Tax Advisory's name. The results of each litter clean-up have been reported to the New Jersey Clean Communities Council (NJCCC).

For the last two years, David Steiner has participated in Berkeley Heights Vegan Fest, in the Vegan Cook-Off. In both instances, Mr. Steiner won awards in the Appetizer category and in the Main Course category. During the 2019 Vegan Cook-Off, Mr. Steiner provided samples of his vegan dishes to attendees so that they could sample how delicious plant-based food can be, in addition to learning about how mindful food choices can have positive impacts on the environment and people's health.
