At JBJ Soul Kitchen we implemented a total rewards program for our employees enabling gym reimbursement, mental health days that do not count against PTO, and provide paid vacations, sick days and are closed during federal holidays.

At JBJ Soul Kitchen all are welcome at our table. We work hand in hand with multiple group homes in the local community to bring in their members to dine with us. We partner with Legacy Treatment Centers, Open Door, Oasis, and many more.

We are a community restaurant that focuses on fighting food insecurity. We utilize a pay it forward model that enables our paying customer to donate extra to offset the cost of meals for those unable to donate.

We source the majority of our food locally from ShopRite. We also utilize a local farm provided by Saint Andrews in Toms River.

We get a decent amount of our produce from a local farm in Toms River at Saint Andrews. The farm is monitored by their members and our volunteers.
