Provide Environmentally Preferable Products Services
Description of Action: 
We offer consulting services to guide organizations on their sustainability journey. As part of this offering we have rebranded our consulting services as Becoming Sustainable In addition, Kristina Kohl, Principal, authored a book on sustainable strategy entitled "Becoming a Sustainable Organization: A Project and Portfolio Management Approach" and " Driving Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion" both bublished by CRC Press. Kristina is a professor with the Bard Graduate Programs in Sustainability educating future generations on the importance embedding the concepts of the sustainable development goals, regenerative environmental and social policies in to employees and organizations. In addition, she speaks at industry events such as the PMI Global Congress, SHRM, PMI Boston, Wharton and other organizations.

We use excel to track electric, gas and water usage on a monthly basis and compare it to prior periods to identify usage change and to make additional changes.

We attend and participate in seminars, conferences, and webinars to continue to build our leaderships's sustainability education and knowledge base.

Waste Recycling
Description of Action: 
Paper and plastics recycling. On average 25 pounds of plastics, paper, mail, periodicals recycled every 2 weeks. In addition, we recycle printer cartridges under the Staples recycling program and receive $2/cartridge. ($52 in rewards 2017). In 2018, we switched to an automatic ink replenishment program which automatically mails replacement ink along with return envelopes for empty cartridges. This program reduces our miles driven as we no longer need to drive to the store to purchase new ink and to return cartridges. ($22). We recycle electronic waste. We paid to have old air conditioners properly disposed of with the Burlington County recycling facility when we upgraded our office air conditioning system to a more energy efficient model.

We recycle all of our electronics including cell phones, monitors, laptops, keyboards and CPUs.
